Volunteer With Us

Over 200 meals are delivered daily by our caring and compassionate volunteers.

They help us in many ways including, extending our impact, helping our most vulnerable in times of need and playing a vital role in what goes on behind the scenes to nourish our neighbors. As Meals on Wheels Ambassadors, our volunteers are also friends to our clients. We train our volunteers to watch and do safety checks. Some of the things we look out for are changes in a client’s behavior or if they are eating their meals.

If you have an interest in bringing hot noon-time meals and friendly conversation to homebound members of our community or assisting in meal preparation in our kitchen, let us know!  As little as 1.5 hours of your time either weekly or when you schedule allows can be a priceless gift for those who rely on Meals on Wheels.
